We don't care about any of that… It’s not really about that. It’s just about getting off on it and getting fired up and creating something that’s exciting for us and hopefully translates to be exciting for you!"

(New York, NY) – Death metal/metalcore stalwarts Reign Of Vengeance have just released a brand new lyric video for “ American Family Court: Thy Seeds To Belial ” with Brain Damage Films. This single is inspired by singer Marshall Beck’s own horrible experiences as a father fighting within the American family court system, as well as the vast amounts of research he into did this somehow socially-accepted institution. The brutal ode likens the modern institution to the ancient child sacrificing temple of the Canaanites, “Where Men and Children Come To Die”. The song encompasses the visceral story-telling, epic aural assault and occult-themed/chaos-fueled fury for which the band has come to be known. Finland's death metal unit Worthless return with their sophomore album "Melancholic Rites". Just like the title suggests, the central theme of the new album is melancholy and all kinds of related unstable emotions. The word melancholy itself is an old one and has many more meanings and relations than just the most obvious ones we think of today. Among other things, it used to be one of the deadly sins.
"Melancholic Rites" wecorded and mixed by Panu Raatikainen at Studio Rantajätkät.

FATAL SIN were formed in late 1985 in Boca Raton, Florida by guitarist Adam Riewold and drummer Greg Threlkel (who were in middle school at the time) out of a love for both the energized Thrash of bands such as Slayer and Megadeth as well as the more intricate arrangements of Rush.
After going through a revolving door of musicians, the line-up solidified with the addition of guitarist Haven Eaton and bassist Kevin Bachaus.
Fast forward, FATAL SIN would take home the top prize at a local Battle of the Bands, winning 4 hours of free studio time. With their winnings the band would enter Hollywood Sync Studios in November of 1989 to record their first demo. Friend, and bassist for local heavyweight's Saigon Kick Tom DeFile, produced. Armed with a quality recording, FATAL SIN would begin to gig heavily, sharing the stage with bands such as Vio-Lence, Devastation, Deicide, Morbid Angel, Raped Ape, Cynic, and Pantera.
Not long after the recording of the 1989 Demo and that momentum began, Kevin would be diagnosed with spinal cancer and would have to exit the band. Adam would switch from guitar to bass, making FATAL SIN a three piece. It would be during this period that the band would begin to be influenced by not only bands such
as Watchtower and Voi-Vod , but also by the complex sounds and arrangements of classic Jazz/Fusion artists such as Return To Forever and Mahavishnu Orchestra . These influences are highly evident on their final studio recording, "Episode", which was recorded in 1991 for a local compilation album " Unsigned III: Killing Time ".
Shortly after the recording of “Episode”, FATAL SIN would go on hiatus for close to a year before reemerging as UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE. The band would issue one final 3-song selftitled demo in 1993 and disband in 1997.
Greg Threlkel would go on to co-found the band BURNER in 1998 along with guitarists John Paul Soars ( Raped Ape/Paingod/Malevolent Creation/Divine Empire ) and Jason Morgan ( Monstrosity ), who would record one album for Arctic Music Group in 1992 titled “One For The Road”. Adam Riewold moved to Tampa, Florida and has been involved in multiple projects, with his most recent being the band LEVEL THE PLANET.
This deluxe re-issue features all of the bands studio recordings, as well as 3 live songs, fully remastered from the original sources by Rob Colwell at Bombworks Sound and an 8-page booklet featuring archival photos and some personal insights from Adam Riewold. Also included is a bonus DVD featuring their entire performance at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida in 1990.
This deluxe edition is the 5th release in our "Florida Metal Archive Series" and is limited to 300 units world wide.
TO DUST is a soundtrack to our current world. Make no mistake, this is the soundtrack of a horror film the likes of which you cannot fathom. You are a character in this story, however the end has not yet been reached. Awaken to the terrors you live among. Educate yourself to the atrocities that unfold in front of you. Do not live in voluntary blindness. Force yourself into perpetual daydreams and you will live in an endless cycle of nightmares...
TO DUST formed in the latter part of 2013 with the intention of making the most ferocious, intense, and menacing extreme music possible. Having spent their time in various death metal, grindcore, and hardcore bands over the years, TO DUST fuse contemporary and classic underground influences to create a sound intended to shatter your eardrums and bang your head into oblivion.
TO DUST stands against any and all oppression, social injustice, discrimination, and cruelty.
We have attached a PDF containing the lyrics and an explanation of the lyrics written by lyricist/vocalist Joe Reed.
The band's debut EP, Descend, was released as a split 12" with Dirk Verbeuren's (Megadeth/Soilwork) & Shane Embury (Napalm Death) grind project, Bent Sea, through Give Praise Records in 2016.
Recently re-emerged technical death metal outfit Abiotic is proud to announce their third full-length, Ikigai. The album will be released on Friday, February 12th, 2021 via The Artisan Era. Cover art was handled by Caelan Stokkermans known for his work with Soreption, Cattle Decapitation, and Fires in the Distance. Abiotic - Ikigai was engineered, produced, mixed, and mastered by Tony Simone at Zenbeast Media. Vocals were recorded and produced by Nick Loiacono at Fang Studios.
Active since 2010, Abiotic sprang to life with an urgent sense of immediacy that saw them signed to Metal Blade Records after their 2011 independent EP, A Universal Plague, was released. The band toured relentlessly from then on while also dropping their 2012 debut album, Symbiosis, and their sophomore album, Casuistry, in 2015.
While going on hiatus does not necessarily mean a group's best days are behind them, often this rings true, yet Abiotic eagerly buck that trend with their finest effort yet on Ikigai. Ikigai is strongly recommended for fans of The Faceless, Gojira, The Black Dahlia Murder, Job For a Cowboy, and Rivers of Nihil. Abiotic states, "We also leaned on some classical and eastern style instrumentation, along with some progressive and jazzy elements."
The band is excited to launch an early album teaser video for Ikigai today. A full early single and active pre-orders will be coming soon later this month.
Abiotic guitarist John Matos comments on the development of Ikigai
"Our intention behind Ikigai was to come back with a vengeance. As it has been over 5 years since our last release, we wanted to put together the most cohesive, diverse, deep, and brain shattering record we possibly could and I feel like we've achieved that and more with this album. Having written this over the course of the last couple of years and finishing this record during a pandemic, the feelings we sought to bring out with this record; pain, grief, desperation, and perseverance are palpable in every note, every chord, and every word, with lyrics touching on topics of suicide, depression, addiction, climate change and the struggle of finding our reason for being.
We wanted to make this record real and relatable in every sense. This album is without a doubt the best material we've ever put together, with brand new elements, and a production/mix that has taken our sound to new heights. The addition of Tony Simone and Kilian Duarte solidified this. We decided to include a variety of guests that we've always wanted to collaborate with, like Trevor Strnad, Chaney Crabb, Brandon Ellis, Scott Carstairs, Jared Smith, and Jonathan Carpenter, and are beyond excited for everyone to hear them.
We really wanted to push the boundaries of what fans expect from us while giving them the signature sound we've honed in that they've come to love. Personally, Ikigai is one of the greatest accomplishments of my life, especially after not knowing if the band was ever going to come back. But we're back. And we're here to stay."
