Seed Of Doom Records is proud to present a special split EP between ASTRIFEROUS and BLOODSOAKED NECROVOID on vinyl 7” format.
The two Costa Rican death machines have been sharing members since their inception and are now teaming up for a skull crushing release, both delivering a new track of hyper energetic and bone pulverizing death metal in their own signature style.
Hailing from Costa Rica, ASTRIFEROUS formed in 2018 and quickly gathered momentum with their utterly gutted, sepulchral Metal of Death betraying an undeniable supernatural aspect. BLOODSOAKED NECROVOID started just a few months earlier and have quickly built a reputation as a visionary new act with an unparalleled sound and aesthetic of dismally towering proportions.
Tracklist:
01. Astriferous - Dweller on the Threshold
02. Bloodsoaked Necrovoid - Encased Emanations of Scourging Suffering
Keeping their roots in fast extreme music, but now with a new groove and longer songs. With a special vocal guest: Wez4 (Dripback, Borstal, Wail of Sirens).
The concept of “DREAMCRUSHER” is the demon living inside all of use that tells us we have no worth and make us doubt ourselves. “DREAMCRUSHER” is a song that illustrates the damage and harm that anxiety and depression can lead to. "We want to make a stand with this song and tell you are not alone!" It is important to normalize that there are people who suffer mentally, but do not show it on the outside. It is not easy to live with yourself when you constantly doubt yourself and do not acknowledge your self-worth. If you see someone who might need some company or a friend you have not talked to in a while, take a moment and say “hello” or “how are you”. It is the little things in life that makes the difference!

“Children Of The Void” is the culmination of listening to many different metal bands through time combined with many skilled Bergen based musicians.
It started with Vocalist/songwriter Runar and Drummer/co-lyric writer Eivind, who are currently the main composers of the project. Music that has inspired varies from Industrial metal to other melodeath acts and some metalcore.
The other members bring their own experience as well. Jørgen, the bassist (and backup vox), from Baby Heartless and formerly from CreTura, Even from Fretmiden (1st guitar), and Robin from Scourge (2nd guitar and backup-vox). Each bringing an edge and inspiration from different genres like death metal, black metal, symphonic metal, a little bit of pop and Deathcore.
A big part of this project is also producer and studio engineer Hans Petter, guitarist and songwriter of Once Awake.
(Member on a session/live -basis also worth mentioning is Markus (3rd guitar and backup vox), from Byrde and also formerly CreTura.)
Fresh off the release of their latest single, “Parasite”, Cult Burial will be releasing their sophomore EP “Oblivion” on September 10, 2021.
The band comments: “This collection of songs were written shortly after the release of Cult Burial's self-titled debut album. They represent an evolution of the Cult Burial sound, falling deeper and more brutally into despair. We are happy to release this EP and showcase a taste of what's to come from the next full-length record.”
After releasing their critically acclaimed debut last year, Cult Burial seeks to continue to plumb the depths of the human experience. This project is the sort of DIY experience that fuels the underground. It is ambitious, powerful and one of a kind.
Their latest single received equal fervor to their debut EP and both are an indication of great things to come with “Oblivion”.
Despite their doom roots, Cult Burial is anything but slow moving. Having formed in early 2020 in London the project rapidly developed, with the group starting from scratch and finishing an EP and an album within four months. The result is a punishingly heavy record that seeks to draw some of the darkest elements from the textures and atmospheres of less heavy music. This desire for crushing sounds has driven Cult Burial to the next demented level, setting them distinctly apart from many of their contemporaries.
Cult Burial will continue to push forward and expand upon the foundation they have built with these two EPs. One thing is for certain: the madness is just beginning.
SUPREME UNBEING is a mysterious metal band from the Realm striking chords in the physical domain. Led by vocalist/prophet Zac Red, with his fellow prophets D.Vine (Lead Guitar), Unknown (Bass) and Al Mytee (Drums), the 4-piece are yet to be seen other than in their animated music videos, but nonetheless have made their mark here in the physical domain with their full-length debut album “Enter Reality” (released October 2020) already surpassing +2 million streams, landing Spotify editorial playlist placements for singles “Solution” and “Dreaming” on Thrashers and New Metal Tracks.

The animated music videos for the singles "You'll Never Make It" and "Animals" both got featured in Revolvermag.com and now have +3 million views on YouTube. Notable accomplishments also include an 8/10 rating in Metal Hammer (Greece), and 3rd place in “Album of the Year 2020” according to the readers of Sweden Rock Magazine.
With the success of “Animals” the band decided to record an acoustic version, “At The End Of The Day (Animals Acoustic)”, released August 6, 2021 on all streaming platforms. The song soberly questions whether there is any difference or not between the behaviors of animals and humans. For those who have heard the energetic “Animals”, “At The End Of The Day (Animals Acoustic)” offers a completely new take on the song and might leave you feeling a bit sad. Check out the video below!
SUPREME UNBEING is set to release two additional songs in August 2021. Next up is an alternate version of “I Can’t Help You” called “I Can’t Help You (The Realm Version)” set to release on 13th August, and lastly an acoustic version of “Dreaming” called “Everything’s Unreal (Dreaming Acoustic)” set to release on 20th August. “Often cute, animals are dual in nature, meaning they can be both cute and cruel. The human species is no exception. Can the human species transcend their dark past? At the end of the day there is always hope and potential to begin a new day tomorrow with the accumulated experiences of our yesterdays” Says Zac Red of Supreme Unbeing.
Dissonant Death Metal trio SUNLESS will release sophomore album Ylem on October 29 via Willowtip Records. Album track "Forgotten (Remnants of Life)" is streaming at youtu.be/HExI8Vwh8Yk
Part two of a trilogy, Ylem builds upon the concept and lyrical theme of the band's independently released debut album, Urraca, by reinforcing the mysticism of the previous album while exploring new themes of displacement, fear, wonder, and transcendence. With the addition of a new drummer and an evolving approach to songwriting, SUNLESS further develops their signature sound with increasingly diverse, dense, and technical offerings.
Best consumed whole, the experience of Ylem is as harrowing as it is satisfying, one rife with dissonant melodies and complex rhythmic structures, certain to leave an indelible mark on the listener's psyche.
On August 13th, BlackHeavens Music is proud to present the European edition of RAVNKALD's striking new album "The Pagan Resistance" on CD format.
A cult institution among the black and pagan metal scene, the international project RAVNKALD stay away from the spotlight, but let their music do the talking.
"The Pagan Resistance" consolidates the same strengths as its predecessors, however, the development of dynamics and texture are more pronounced across this equally epic journey, once again offering a pool of radiance 46 minutes in length.
The lyric video of the title track is now available HERE.
The idea of giving life to this internartional project appeared in 2011, when Fauk (Hordagaard) and Marganor (Ereshkigal, Forest of Doom and Black Empire) talked about the possibility of playing together in the same band, leaving aside the borders and thousands of kilometers that separated them (Norway and Mexico). Thus, that same year the name RAVNKALD (Raven that lives in the snow) arose and the logo was created, as well as the first songs that would be included in their first record production.
Without any prior demo in 2012 they boasted with the release of “Solsnudag”, their debut album. Musically speaking, it’s been defined as a huge album. They mixed the speed of black metal and the dynamism of pagan metal, to offer a creative, fresh album that grabs from the first listen. Big praise was given to the voice of Anxietous Nero (USA), considered one of the best black metal voices in the warfield. The CD version was released by Azermedoth Records. The success of the album allowed for its re-release in several formats: it was released twice in tape format by two European labels: Metal Throne Productions from Greece and Werewolf Promotion from Poland. To this day, it is still considered one of the most appreciated albums by fans.
After a great feedback from the underground to their debut album, in 2015 they returned with a new sonic assault, this time it was a threeway split with two more excellent bands: Gjallarhorn from Ukraine and Fjörd from Canada. This pagan trilogy was released in cooperation with Azermedoth Records and Wolftyr Records. This new work made the band gain more followers around the world. This time Domos Aidaou, a Colombian composer known for his work with Naxac and Solemne Mortis, took charge of a large part of the compositions. Voice and lyrics were provided by Paul Guhring, manager of Wolftyr Records and leader of the band Grafvolluth.
Indomitable, the pagan forces of RAVNKALD returned in 2016, this time as a duo, with another full length album, entitled "Ancestral Steel." The music was written by a virtuoso Venezuelan musician named Count Kriegmoon. The hymns created by this South American demon deserve special mention with themes full of glory, ancient mysticism and pagan memories worthy of being remembered.
That same year the band released "Pure Pagan Blood" thanks to the cooperation of Azermedoth Records (Mexico) and Werewolf Promotion (Poland). The reaction to this record was fantastic, presumably due to its music, full of choirs, acoustics and pagan atmospheres, without neglecting the aggressiveness of black metal. This time the guest of honor was Bornyhake Ormenos (Ormenos, Borgne, Enoid, Kawir, etc.) With this album RAVNKALD's name became bigger by increasing their fanbase especially in Europe. RAVNKALD's warship started to become unstoppable. Frontcover artwork created by Dave Jobin of Triskele.
In 2018 they released “Ecos Paganos”, their latest production, this time under the Mexican label Old Records. Its booklet deserves a special mention for the quality of printing and finishes. Musically, the band went forward on its same path, more pagan than ever. According to press reviews, the record, with its continuos changes of atmospheres, never sounds boring or monotonous. Two new members were summoned for this work: Agöth Sterpe (Ereshkigal) and Dagon (Heathen Deity from UK).
It’s 2021 and RAVNKALD return with their new opus called “The Pagan Resistance”, which shows a more mature side. The new vocalist of the band is Martyr Lucifer, from the Italian acts Hortus Animae and Martyr Lucifer and the international project Space Mirrors. "The Pagan Resistance" was released by the Mexican label Sun Empire Prods. Without a doubt the fresh sound of this album will be a great leap in their career and delight all the fans. Artwork designed by the Ukrainian artist Leìt, known for her graphic works with Hortus Animae, Martyr Lucifer and the Norwegian black metal legend Ancient.
The RAVNKALD warriors remain unstoppable, again in 2021 the “United by Pagan Blood” CD will also be unleashed, it’s a split album with Grim Sköll, which will be released again by Azermedoth Records from Mexico. Stay tuned for more news to come.
NecroticGoreBeast were facing a tough challenge, following the critically acclaimed nuclear strike of their first, self-titled album, but it’s one they have risen to with surprising ease. Descending from the skies comes second album Human Deviance Galore, armed with a payload of destruction on an unprecedented scale. In the bloody pit fight of brutal death metal there is no longer any doubt who will be the last band standing...
Human Deviance Galore is every bit as heavy as its predecessor, every bit as staggeringly powerful and remorseless in its wanton battery and yet its technical dexterity and intricate song craft have been ratcheted up another notch. At the same time as pounding the listener into dust, songs like ‘Feeding On Abscess’ are working wicked, glistening hooks into the brain, sending corkscrews of twisting guitar work deep into the cerebral cortex. This is an assault you’ll never forget – and not just because of the bruises and broken bones! NecroticGoreBeast’s blend of breathtaking firepower and merciless musicality is matchless and the stunning obscene creation that is Human Deviance Galore is setting new standards for what can be expected from brutal death metal.
The band’s alliance of blood with Comatose Music remains unbroken and the premier label in musical extremity will unveil the superior weaponry of Human Deviance Galore on October 1st. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll bleed and you’ll die when this explosion of ‘Deviant Primitive Debauchery’ arrives at your door.

Chile can without any doubt be considered as one of the most fertile grounds for putrid death metal. PHANTASMAGORE can be easily added to the ever-growing Chilean scene.
The band consisting of Charles Dexter Ward on guitars/vocals and Rod Torrance (also in Putrid Yell) on drums/vocals released their debut demo "Abominations…" in early 2020.
Initially released on cassette by Burning Coffin Records (Chile), Headsplit Records (USA) and Unholy Domain (Italy) this demo contains two originals and a Necrophagia cover. Later in 2020 the demo was issued on CD by Mexico’s Dark Recollection Records as a split album with Fleshrot from the USA.
Now it’s time to see both PHANTASMAGORE penned tracks for the first time on vinyl. Released on a killer 7 inch limited to 500 copies (300 black/200 clear) it is made available exclusively for the European market by Dawnbreed Records.
Co-released with Life After Death Records (USA) and Burning Coffin Records (Chile) "Abominations…" is a release that oozes death metal. PHANTASMAGORE knows how to write a catchy, yet filthy and rotten sounding song. This simply is a debut recording that has to be heard.
Meanwhile the band has recorded an EP with 5 new tracks, but you know what they say… the first strike is deadly!
