GHOST BATH’s fourth full-length sets the mood meter to desolation/antipathy—and never quite let's go. Produced by the band with Xander Moser engineering at Tree Speak Recording Studio in Minneapolis and mixed by Jack Shirley (DEAFHEAVEN, BOSSE-DE-NAGE) at The Atomic Garden Recording Studios in Oakland, Self Loather is a sonic exercise in shadow, nuance, and, most of all, power. The band enlisted Zdzisław Beksiński to create the cover artwork which was licensed through the Muzeum Historyczne w Sanoku.

Italian death metallers HUSQWARNAH are pleased to announce their upcoming debut album “Front Toward Enemy“, due out December 3rd 2021 via Fuel Records (LP) and Reborn Through Tapes (MC).

Heavily inspired by 90’s death metal, HUSQWARNAH is a relentless assault of old school death metal in the vein of Asphyx, Bolt Thrower and Benediction. Formed in the outskirts of Milan, northern Italy, this vicious five-piece style is straight to the point and unapologetic, soaked in warlike aesthetic, while maintaining the emphasis on catchy songwriting and song-oriented composition.

After a number of local gigs supporting acts such as Asphyx and Hideous Divinity, HUSQWARNAH are now ready to bust through their first album, “Front Toward Enemy”. No quarter given and no compromises made, except for an intriguing cover of RUSH’s “Dreamline”, featuring DARK TRANQUILLITY’s Mikael Stanne on vocals.

The band’s songs are impeccably structured, with there being excellent contrasting passages, be it melodic flashes or slower hooks, flurry of leads, all of which work well against the backdrop of deep, guttural growls and crunchy death metal riffing.

The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by producer Carlo Altobelli at Toxic Basement Studios (CRIPPLE BASTARDS, INSANITY ALERT, EKPYROSIS) in Italy. The striking cover artwork is by Solomacello (FULCI, SADIST).

Nocturnal Wanderer was formed in Spring 2021, in the Pacific Northwest region. A solo anonymous project, Nocturnal Wanderer released its debut album, Gift of the Night, on September 10, 2021.

The album showcases a traditional black metal sound and minimalist compositions, yet allows the occasional heavy metal style solo to seep in. With this songwriting approach, the songs crafted have the tendency to be both melodic and bass-driven at the same time, with the production highlighting the latter.

BONE TOWER RELEASE "WE ALL WILL DIE ONE DAY" EP

Bone Tower is a filthy death metal band coming from Atlantic Canada. They formed earlier this year with a defined vision - to deliver an abusive and abrasive initial offering that would be the soundtrack for the madness that has ensued on a global level over the past year and a half.

The trio of Jonas DeViller (vocals/electronics/lyrics), Sean Carroll (guitar/bass), and Michael Bowers (guitar/bass/vocals) is a seasoned one at that and they were able to quickly write and produce their debut EP “We All Will Die One Day” in two weeks. It came together as a whole very quickly and organically. They comment on the title track and punishing conclusion of the EP:

“As the namesake of the EP, you really want to make a statement. We all know you are your own worst enemy, and that’s what ‘We All Will Die One Day’ stands to shove down your throat. We’re all human, we all have shitty habits, and those practices are probably what’s gonna give us the axe one day. The 8th and final track on ‘We All Will Die One Day’ hangs around for just a measly 50 seconds (and 17 of those are sustained feedback), but packs a major punch in that short amount of time. Blistering riffs lead into a short and sweet breakdown, leaving you confused about what the heck you just listened to.”

Both sonically and lyrically, “We All Will Die One Day” represents a collective status of disarray. Challenging speed and complex rhythms serve to accelerate unfavourable emotions to the forefront of your mind. A raw and unfiltered byproduct of mental health in disarray and unfocused aggression, with no real direction on how to cope in a post-pandemic landscape. 

While presented in an ugly package, these songs are a cathartic release with the intent of extinguishing deep feelings of depression and anger. Their sound is influenced most by death metal, grindcore, and hardcore and is recommended for fans of Cryptopsy, Atka, and Trap Them.

K AMON K is a new dark entity created by veterans of the French Black Metal scene. Furious, Inspiring, Magical Black Metal to die for. 

Hailing from France, K AMON K is a new dark Entity created by veterans of the French Black Metal scene, who have known each other for over 20 years. At first it was the work of two musicians (Kra Cillag & Kzg), but they were soon joined by Kra Altar (drums) and then Fyr (bass). Due to the geographical distance between each member of the group, the recording had to be spread over several months, with a simple, natural and very efficient writing process, keeping each song essential and pure. The band took great care to create unique and original synth sounds to bring real ambiences, more than simple layers. The French lyrics, on the other hand, reflect a personal journey, carried by a voice that has been worked as an instrument in its own right during the compositions of the album.

The song is part of the latest record production of the group “New Beginnings are Met”, released in 2019 and has received excellent reviews both in Venezuela and in Latin America.

Overhate, one of the main rock-metal groups in Venezuela, specifically of the thrash metal style, will premiere its new video clip, corresponding to the theme The penance and the lesson -The penance and the lesson- and which was released this Friday on the channel of Youtube of the band.

The song is part of the latest record production of the group New beginnings are met, released in 2019 and that has received excellent reviews both in Venezuela and in Latin America and is even distributed worldwide independently.

The music and lyrics for The penance and the lesson were written by Giancarlo Vettor, who is also a singer, guitarist and founder of Overhate. The video was recorded in three countries: Venezuela, Peru and Canada. The direction of the video was made by Samir Acosta, who is also the band's bassist. The mix was done by Ronald Del Águila, drummer of the group, while it was mastered by renowned engineer Marcos Burgos, responsible for the live sound of numerous international artists.

“The penance and the lesson is a song that tries to represent what luck is for everyone in certain decisive moments, the aggressiveness of the song wants to give the listener a focus of frustration when luck, which serves as our destiny, does not fall in our favor. However, if lessons are learned from these unfavorable situations, certain situations can become very clear, as to how difficult decisions well made can often bring the best results. Keep in mind, if there is no solution, no answer to the question or anything you can imagine, the dice fall for everyone, as penance and lesson define our moments now, ”explained Giancarlo Vettor.

All the members of Overhate participate in the video clip, interpreting the song, in the company of the actors Johallyn Luy, Fernando Rivas and Diego del Águila. The general production was the responsibility of the entire band and it was a challenge to do so since the members are living in three different countries, in addition to the restrictions of the Pandemic in each place, however, thanks to technology, a video was produced. of the best quality.

The single also shows a high musical level. The work of both guitars is quite technical, requiring great dexterity from both guitarists. The rhythmic part is also demanding: the drums take a lot of speed, as well as tempo changes and the bass must do a powerful and precise work of the rhythms. This theme shows that Overhate is also today one of the most virtuous and best prepared groups in the country in its style.

Overhate is a band founded in Caracas that released their first album in 2007, entitled God in a trench.
