In discussing the new level reached on Embers of Elysium, guitarist Richard Clark states that it "is quite the leap for us in every aspect from Dominion Enthroned. Where Dominion was a full concept album, the first eight tracks on Embers of Elysium are standalone, and the last four tracks are part of a fictional sci-fi/horror concept called Chronicles of the Obsidian Reign. I can say with confident humility that every song on this album was crafted and delivered without compromise. The wide range of all of our influences is on display on this album. I think we executed it tastefully and with precision, and I hope it resonates powerfully with listeners."

BIO:

Among These Ashes is a melodic power/thrash metal band hailing from Detroit, Michigan (USA). The band's central focus is the creation of stellar, highly-memorable metal songs. The group's sound is crushingly heavy and punctuated by cerebral arrangements, thought-provoking lyrics, and dynamic shifts in tempo and aggression. Among These Ashes' debut musical offering, Dominion Enthroned, is a conceptual tour de force, inspired by modern societal parallels and struggles. Originally released independently, the record was later re-released under a single-album contract with Alone Records on vinyl and CD formats.

In April 2023, the band released an original single, entitled "The Enemy in I," which lyrically chronicles the woes of self-destruction. The band recorded a cover of "Sirens" by Savatage as an accompaniment to this release. In March 2024, Among These Ashes independently released a cover of W.A.S.P. track, "Restless Gypsy."

The band features Jean-Pierre Abboud (Traveler) on lead and harmony vocals, Dylan Hamann (Variform) and Richard Clark on lead and rhythm guitars, Kane Bochatyn on bass, and Kyle Wagner (Nethergate) on drums. Together, this line-up is committed to its vision of consistently delivering uncompromisingly heavy music to the metal hordes.

The intergalactic covenant hidden under the banner of SUMMONING SATURN VOIDS was born from a desire to create a musical time machine.

Bringing a Black Metal singer into the future, immersed in sidereal and cosmic sounds and then catapulting him into the 70’s, jamming with Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler. Different emotions and influences contributed to the birth of his album: isolation, frustration, desire for redemption.

SUMMONING SATURN VOIDS fire up the laser blades and throw in their magical cauldron-crater a mixture of sounds inherited from Planet Earth (lysergic doom, death/black metal chants, psychedelia, stoner rock) as well from the deepest regions of the (un)known Galaxy (music of the spheres, vibrational stars-resonance frequencies). The potion thus evoked is at the same time spirited and punishing, grim and melancholic, reeking of 70’s era Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream and... well, you will surely find out.

Featuring clones and doppelgangers stolen from earthly bands like Aborym, Darkend, Drakkar, The Headless Ghost and Daemoniac (plus a quite well renowned gentleman from Norway), the SUMMONING SATURN VOIDS spaceship travels through time back and forth, offering an adventurous sonic experience that will for sure appeal to a quite wide and diverse range of listeners.

THRONE OF ROACHES RELEASE NEW SINGLE "I DEPART"

Burn Down Eden state: "The lyrics to 'Suckbox' were written to a time, when there were allegations made public against Till Lindemann (Rammstein) about sexual assault. It's a very serious topic that we wanted to bring to light, since the exploitation of women in the rock and metal world is a well known secret that comes to light occasionally. And it goes far beyond our beloved scene. Athletes, politicians and actors. People with money and power tend to have a weird perspective on how they can treat people and women in particular. This was something we wanted to talk about. And of course we did it the Burn Down Eden way, telling the story from the perspective of a rock star and how we picture those situations to happen. How the managers are instructed to find new girls on each show and the power of fame is used to treat them like sh*t. "...close your eyes, open your mouth and do the f*cking deed" is a very strong line to describe this use of power figuratively.

"So how can you supplement this topic with a video you may ask yourself? We couldn't translate the lyrics just into pictures, that's for sure. So we came up with the idea to jump into different characters that are either convicted offenders or had/have serious allegations against them. And not just rock stars but politicians, too. During the first half of the song, we kinda introduce those characters and picture them in the most cocky way we think they might act in real life, with girls dancing around them as well. When we build up to the solo part, we also start the plot twist in the video. The girls start to fight back and take over the instruments playing the rest of the song. We are very happy with the outcome and think it's a great statement."

Burn Down Eden's latest release is not just a powerful follow-up to their April 2024 EP Dismal, it’s a major milestone for the band. With the release of a music video for every track across both Dismal and today's Epiphany EP release, the band have now unleashed a total of ten videos, each one bringing a unique visual dimension to their unrelenting sound. Together, these tracks form a cohesive, full-length experience, set to drop on 31st January, 2025. Formed in 2009, Intestinal Laceration is for the twisted minds obsessed by the extreme, ancestral eschatology, existential cosmology, anti-Christianity, cannibalism, genetic mutation, and pathological malformations.

Conceived in the underworld of Lima, Peru, Intestinal Laceration began rehearsals where compositions of fast and rotten riffs, extreme blast beats, and overwhelmingly chaotic guttural vocals converged. Grinding the local scene over the next five years, the band unshackled their debut EP "Species of Ptrid Minds" in 2015 on Coyote Records (RU).

Their follow-up and first full-length "Chaotic Eschatological Madness" is chaotic, forceful, heavy, and gutturally raw for a brutal and pleasurable listening experience. An evolution from their EP, the album is high energy and nods to true old-school death metal with its elaborate and complex riffs.

The lyrical theme of "Chaotic Eschatological Madness" deals with the cosmological existential anguish as an answer to the absurdities of the world, searching for the true essence of nature in the phenomenological subjective experiences and cosmological knowledge, manifested in the cult of ancestral eschatologies as a symbolic cognitive cultural legacy that is shown in its original way of conceiving the universe (cosmological prefiguration). The album also talks about catastrophic natural phenomena, the regeneration of time, and the extinction of the human race as a misanthropic seed because of its self-destructive nature.
