TAEDIFER, a band composed of experienced musicians, well-known faces of the Czech scene, playing honest old-school death metal! The debut album “INDIVINUS” saturated with rot and and sepulchral melodies, in the spirit of classic HM2 death metal of the Swedish style. The band was formed in 2021 originally as a studio project that grew into a regular band.

Petr “Pepe” Ouško (*1977) guitar:

One of the cornerstones of the South Bohemian doom metal legend BONE ORCHARD. At the end of the 90’s he founded the crossover formation SEDATIVE, followed by a few years in the stoner/thrash band THE OLD FOUR. With his inseparable bandmate Marek Verner they originally founded the studio project Taedifer.

Robert Kubík (*1981) guitar:

A well-known face on the Czech scene, during his career he has gone through names like INGROWING, LOCOMOTIVE, SIAX and now he is an active member of the gore grind squad JIG-AI alongside TAEDIFER.

Radek Popel (*1982) vocals:

During his career he has been in many bands, the most important ones were DIEVISION, MOTORBAND, DARK ANGELS and AFTER RAIN. Since 2017, he has been a member of dark metal AVENGER and then their successor BOHEMYST.

Pavel “Kebab” Troup (*1989) bass:

He shredded fat strings in KŘEMEŽSKÝ VÝBĚR and other projects. However, a major milestone in his musical career was joining the world-famous gore´n´roll legend GUTALAX.

Marek Verner (*1977) drums:

Inseparable drumming partner of Pepe, with whom he shaped the sound of BONE ORCHARD, SEDATIVE and THE OLD FOUR. Together with Pepe, founding member of TAEDIFER.

SKULLHAMMER RELEASE NEW SINGLE: "WHERE SKULLS PILE HIGH"

On November 7th 2025, Skullhammer released their first single “Where Skulls Pile High”, taken from the band’s upcoming self-titled debut EP, which will be released on January 16th 2026.

Skullhammer, from Bottrop, Germany, play straightforward, uncompromising death metal. The band combines classic influences with a focused, contemporary sound and a consistent, dark concept. Their music is heavy, direct, and serious – without theatrics or sentimentality.

Influences include Bolt Thrower, Dying Fetus, and Morbid Angel. Skullhammer’s approach is grounded in clarity and weight rather than technical display or nostalgia.

The band’s members previously played in End of Days, Optimist, Impure, and Clobberin Time. Their shared mindset is simple: no compromises, no distractions.

Finnish thrashers Indemon have released a music video for their song 'Abuse'. The track is taken from their critically acclaimed debut album, Reclaiming Chaos, which was released last June via Inverse Records.

"Abuse show's the narrator’s perspective on the conflict in which they want to break free from a person, yet at the same time want to keep that person under their control. The narrator has an obsession with control.

Alternatively, it could be that the other person does not exist at all, and the narrator is actually a voice inside the listener’s head — a kind of inner demon — telling the listener how it wants to get rid of them, while simultaneously keeping them in its grasp."

INDEMON is a four-piece metal band formed in 2020 in Kerava, Finland. Drawing influences from various subgenres of metal, they blend them uniquely to create a powerful and atmospheric sound. INDEMON's debut EP Fear of Living was released in 2022, showcasing the band's ability to create intense and multifaceted metal. The band’s lyrical themes explore fear, self-doubt, and inner struggles, immersing the listener into the music's emotional world. Inhabiting a space between the soulless mists of the Pacific Northwest and the haunting rains of Mexico City, Degraved have re-emerged with their first full-length offering. Spectral Realm of Ruin brings the same seismic passages and eerie atmospheres that those familiar with the band’s early material will recognize, but captivatingly and meticulously expanded upon. Bludgeoning blast beats and relentless guitar riffs conjure a dark backdrop for the hellish, bestial vocal torment seeping with mirth for the atrocities of modern life. Slower passages and synthesizer accoutrements add an eldritch atmosphere to the picture, descending the listener into an unforgettable and sometimes furiously catchy proper debut.

Degraved harnesses the 90s Death Metal sound gloriously, mixing classic homages and maniacal hooks that will grab the unsuspecting and drag them along with hate and indignity. In the riffs, one can hear the influence of Morbid Angel and Immolation, and less obtuse references such as Slugathor and Cianide. Hell, some sections channel the corruptive influence of bands like Demoncy or Blaspherian. Produced by the band at their home studio, the sonically dark production, driving grooves and seriously killer art lend to its old school charm. Between the ripping armageddon, you will find dreary atmosphere, well-placed solos, and interesting hooks that all showcase a fierce dedication to the craft of creating what can only be described as pure Death Metal.

"Telesynthetic Rebirth" launches with “Dethronement,” a sweeping and cinematic opener that heralds the downfall of the Mangled God, a brutal, tyrannical figure defined by torture and violence. This track sets the EP’s epic tone, which pulses throughout the release. The intensity escalates with “Arcane Inception,” a relentlessly heavy and aggressive piece that introduces the rise of a new force, one that begins abducting humanity by targeting the most impressionable, dubbed “malleable respondents.” The third track, “Veil Unfurling,” shifts back into atmospheric territory, pairing a soaring chorus with lyrics laced in clinical, medical-inspired language that romanticize the transformation of captives into telepathic servants. “Lesions” then delivers the EP’s most brutal blow, with rapid-fire vocals and a twisted chorus that warns the remaining humans of their impending doom. The closing track, “First Encounter Assault Regiment,” returns to epic scale, unleashing the full scope of the genocidal plan as telepathic legions march forward. Ending on a cliffhanger, the lyrics hint at a possible regime reversal, leaving the narrative open for future exploration.

The EP also includes two subtle nods to the original F.E.A.R. video game: the final track’s title riffs on the game’s acronym, while “Veil Unfurling” features a hidden line from Paxton Fettel. Interestingly, the lyrics for “Veil Unfurling” were penned during a binge of House M.D., lending them a cold, clinical edge. Most of the synth work was crafted by guitarist Sam in his pyjamas, experimenting with Native Instruments to build the EP’s eerie soundscapes. Instrument tracking was completed in just four days, while vocals were recorded externally and independently to allow for greater precision and emotional depth.

"Telesynthetic Rebirth" follows the band’s acclaimed releases "Divine in Blood" (2020) and "The Mangled God" (2022), which earned them recognition for their uncompromising heaviness and thematic depth. With members known from acts like Deadwood, Fall of Stasis, and Ignominy, Discovery Through Torment brings a wealth of experience and intensity to both studio and stage.

The EP’s artwork, drenched in ominous reds and desolate landscapes, mirrors the sonic and lyrical themes, hinting at the origins of the lone figure at its center and the chaos to come.

VACUA is a black metal band from Rome, Italy, formed in 2023.
