Greek heavy / power metal band SACRED OUTCRY will release their new album "Damned for All Time" on September 25th. As the band says:
"Damned for All Time was originally recorded between 2001-2003. The band went into a hiatus shortly after and the album was never officially released. The whole album was re-recorded between 2015-2019 and released via No Remorse Records on September 25th 2020. The opening track, "Timeless" is a revision of the intro of the old album with added snippets of the "original" recordings. Original unreleased artwork by Nick "Tsouk" Tsouknidas, 2001 - 2002.
• The songs were kept as close to the “original” versions as possible, in order to preserve the feeling and the vibe of the era they were composed.
• The eponymous track got a large lyrical revamp because it was originally composed back in 1998!
• The acoustic guitars were taken from the 2001 - 2002 recordings to work as a bridge between the past and the present.
• The orchestral parts were composed nearly 17 years after the original versions in order to add an extra layer of depth in the music and pay a small tribute to one of the modern fathers of Epic Music, Basil Poledouris.
"Damned for All Time" will be released through No Remorse Records on digital, vinyl and CD formats. More info on:
