('A Place Beyond Fathom' focuses more on the black metal side of it's claimed genre and expands on the material and style that has already been released through Zkarv.
This album has been shelved many times in it's fickle development and time and time again, rerecorded and restructured. The theme of the album calls to a dark but calm place inside us all, yet also drifts through thoughts and places of disasters, fear and mental illness. A true product of mental isolation.
'From a personal note, I have time and time again loved and hated working some of these tracks, at times I decided to cut out or mutilate certain songs, constantly rebuilding them. I describe releasing this album like letting go of an ill memory that I can't help but keep dwelling on, a memory I am reluctant to share, like a ghost refusing to move on.')
