In the pines between the hills, The Rain King recites his Lament. His son has gone, making his way for the Druidic Ascension. He has reached the age of choosing, and the call from the Hermits in the Runic Wood found the boy their next kin. The King must watch as his only child is delivered to the forest in rites he knows to be kept secret amongst the messengers of the wild. He will never see him again, but will forever witness him in the moon, wind, stones, and rain.
