Spanish Progressive Death/Groove Metal band Altamira released their new single «Starcrossed». The release was recorded at "NewLife Studios" in Madrid, recorded with Daniel Sabugal of Arwen/Saratoga (FOH) and the mix/master was done by Alejandro Obregon.

Altamira was formed in 2021 at Madrid, Spain by Alejandro Obregon Bauluz (vocals), Edu Zaballos Cabala (guitars), Gabriel Serrano (bass) and Jorge Durante (drums). The band have been writing and rehearsing since their inception, playing their first pair of shows in 2023. Their sound composes a wide array of influences, ranging from technical death metal to jazz and soft prog rock, with notable artists including Opeth, Gojira, Devin Townsend, Pink Floyd, and Steven Wilson.
