Skilfully combining black/death and hardcore/punk, St. Petersburg, Russia's HELLBOMB have developed their own, truly unique sound and style.

Devotees of intense uncompromising blackened metal and brutal hardcore have a new band to champion.

Extreme sound violence is the main course. Brought to another level of atrocity and grimness by these Russian metal maniacs. Primitive and aggressive. Intense and ugly. Each song is a burst of hatred into your skull.

Started in 2013 as a studio project it promptly thrived into a monstrous act including highly professional musicians in its ranks.

Raging through the Russian underground metal scene with dozens of local gigs and festivals, HELLBOMB have made a name for themselves as a severe and extremely energetic live band, sharing the stage with highly acclaimed metal acts like Destroyer 666, Necrophobic and Exhumed and taking part to the 2018 edition of the Netherlands Deathfest.

HELLBOMB have already managed to release a demo tape, 2 full-length albums, 2 EPs and a single. Pretty productive for 6 years of existence, huh? The band is now marching to the sound of the last EP "Noise Worship Propaganda" into the new decade of its domination. Still evil. Still fuelled with hate. Still hungry for blood.

VULTURE LORD AND BLACK ALTAR RELEASE SPLIT

 

PRESS RELEASE:

ODIUM RECORDS proudly announces a split of the Norwegian black/thrash masters VULTURE LORD with Polish BLACK ALTAR - “Deathiah Manifesto”. It will be released around October as an LP and digipack cd. Split contains 8 songs, including intros done by Ludo “Evil” Lejeune. One song from Vulture Lord is still with vocals recorded by Nefas. Musicians of Vader, Mork and Enshadowed has taken part in Black Altar part of the split. Cover art was done by Jenglot Hitam. 

We want to remind that Vulture Lord is back after 18 years with a new album “Desecration Rite” which will be released 20th of August, also by Odium Records. 

You can expect nothing less but pure hate, bestiality and devotion to old black metal ideals from these black metal veterans.

SLOMATICS RELEASE NEW TRACK: "GRIEFHOUND"

Based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Slomatics produce utterly heavy sounds. 'Griefhound' is their latest offering.

“Griefhound was originally recorded at a time when most of our songs seemed to have a dystopian negativity, I think we were reading a lot of Philip K Dick at the time. We like to think our music now is more uplifting, but given the past 18 months we felt a return to dystopian dirge may be appropriate” – Slomatics

Slomatics’ ‘Griefhound’ delivers utterly overdriven, distorted guitars. The doom and sludge inspired sounds combine with a psychedelic element. It’s not all haze as the guitar fuzz that consumes all in its path suddenly dissipates revealing, for a moment, a serene, ethereal plain. The track is vast, exploring an unbeknown or measurable area of space. Vocals sit somewhere off into the distance of the distorted wasteland. It’s heavy, dirty, and eerily compelling. 

Slomatic's track is due to release alongside Australian outfit Yanomamö as part of an epic collaboration on vinyl. The split 7” blue vinyl, releasing via Iommium Records, contains their tracks ‘Griefhound’ and ‘Dig 2 Graves’, on the 27th August 2021.

Post-grunge, goth metal group Gods Of Decay have released their first single/official video taken from their forthcoming album Collective Psychosis, due out worldwide via Sliptrick Records later this year.

The song Suffocate You focuses on societal relationships and how society ignores the hardships of an individual while simultaneously trying to suppress (“suffocate”) the willpower of its members.

However, with the music video, the band attempted to create a visual interpretation of the aforementioned issues by portraying a love-hate relationship with elements of paranormal whilst focusing on core themes of betrayal and revenge.

The spores of MYCELIUM were dropped in the diseased Spring of 2020, and germinated throughout the period of self-isolation and lockdowns. Founded in Glasgow, Scotland, by sole member Greg Edwards [Necronoclast], Mycelium is a mould-ridden musical entity, inspired by the diversity of the fungal kingdom and taking influence from classic 90s death metal. Mycelium explores the dark side of mycology; a world of decay, parasites and poisons which form an essential part of our repulsive world.

The dark journey through fungi such as the Destroying Angel and the Funeral Bell is further enhanced by spectacular artwork created by Slovakian maestro Dávid Glomba [Ascension, Teitanblood].

With "Scream Bloody Spore", Mycelium has formed a putrescent bridge between the worlds of death metal and mycology, beckoning with abhorrence to those who dare to cross.
