Italian deathcore act Alkemy has revealed a video for their new single "Debris Of A Smile", first track taken from the the new EP out next year. The new song was recorded and produced at The Grid Europe - Mathlab Recording Studio by Jonathan Mazzeo.
About the new track the band says: "One man’s smile means another man’s madness. The victim’s suffering becomes the executioner’s pure joy, we are destined to become what we undergo, so that the man shaped by icy empathy gets to feel something only giving to the others what he craves so much but will never have: a smile; in his brutal act he stands as a benefactor, but the granting of his blade is nothing more than a pleasure to gratify himself. Is madness convincing yourself that pure happiness exists or living aware of the opposite? Dark atmospheres, sharp riffs screams and blood: that is 'Debris Of A Smile'".
Salt Lake City’s Arsenic Addiction’s released a fourth album, “XIX” in September 2019 and now have a creative and breathtaking video to complement the track “Fire”. Clad in red against the barren stretches of the salt flats, Arsenic Addiction pulls out all the stops in this captivating video. They explain the track in their own words:
“We chose to write Fire in its beautiful and ultimately destructive form. The song itself is meant to embody the fiery emotions of passion, love, pain, war, revenge, survival, religious trauma. It is the pact all witches make with the devil, it is freedom. Burning bridges and staying to watch every ember burn into nothingness.”
The promotion of “XIX” was unfortunately stunted by having to quarantine and live shows being put on hiatus, however, fans can still enjoy going on a journey through another’s love, sadness, anger, and pain. It’s laid out to feel as though you have walked in on the solitary practice of a witch, her life, her experiences, her secrets, her black rites.
“XIX” is the story of an outsider, those who dare to be different, strange, or unusual and are made out to be monsters, demons, or witches because of it. It’s the journey of the human soul from a feminine perspective experiencing love, hate, finding inner power, and making deals with the devil to conquer those who would stand in the way of that power.
Although the music of Arsenic Addiction has evolved in style over the years, the reason has always been the same: to create art, connect with others, and express emotions/complex issues about love, death, and the world that are difficult to convey with mere words.

San Diego thrash trio Beekeeper is extremely proud to announce their December 2020 signing with Metal Assault Records. They have plans to re-release their debut album Slaves to the Nothing on vinyl in early 2021, and will be releasing their sophomore album through Metal Assault Records later that year. It's apparent that nothing will stop Beekeeper from achieving their goal of taking the world by swarm!
Formed in 2010 by guitarist/vocalist Ally Levine and drummer Dylan Marks, San Diego's Beekeeper is an unstoppable heavy metal force. These thrash lovers began playing local house shows as a two-piece in 2012, soon joined by bassist Adam Wollach (Fermentor, Trashaxis) in 2013. The trio was ready to shred and Beekeeper quickly began booking shows with internationally touring acts.
In 2015 Beekeeper recorded their first full length album, Slaves To The Nothing. Since releasing Slaves in the summer of 2017, the band has made three successful tours across the USA each year.
But in the face of 2020's COVID-19 pandemic, Beekeeper has not let the inability to tour affect their ability to stay active and connect with their fans. Just this year, they have released a music video, play-through videos, and started their own video podcast Bees Company on their YouTube channel, as well as appeared on many other metal podcasts.
Now the band is excited to announce their signing with Metal Assault Records. They have plans to re-issue Slaves to the Nothing on vinyl in early 2021, and will be releasing their sophomore album later that year. It's apparent that no adversity will stop Beekeeper from achieving their goal of taking the world by swarm!
The members of Ontario’s Duskwalker have been making their rounds in the underground metal scene for decades and their efforts culminated in the current form in 2015. Having originally started with the sole purpose of being a money-making cover band, things took a heavier turn when they morphed into a kickass metal band.
They released a full-length “Codex Mystirium” in 2016 under the name The Offering and traveled extensively to promote it, however, due to another band with the same name they took the name of one of their songs. In 2019, under the name Duskwalker, they released “All They Know Is Fear” via CDN Records. They released the video for the single “Shadowcreeper” via Decibel Magazine and also won the 2019 Niagara Music Award for Best Heavy Metal Group.
A heavy throwback yet modern, Duskwalker's album “All They Know Is Fear” as a whole is made to be enjoyed from beginning to end with carefully arranged songs that provide a well-rounded listening experience. It is a monstrous sophomore album with themes of myth, conspiracy, and horror, showing that Duskwalker have conjured a diverse mix of extreme metal that's recommended for fans of Morbid Angel, Carcass, and Pantera.
Today, the band shares their next music video for their track “The Crawling Tongue”. The song is about the H.P. Lovecraft character Nyarlothtep along with featuring super heavy riffs and vocals that sound really pissed off akin to Morbid Angel and Pantera mixed together. The band explains the track:
“We want it to take the listener somewhere dark. We have forged traditional metal, old school death, and thrash. Genres are blended creating a visceral assault that stands out from song to song with a dose of atmosphere and darkness.”

"For this song, we invited our good friends, singers, who are all somehow connected to SIGNUM REGIS. Göran Edman was the lead singer of the band in the early days and recorded with us the 1st and the 2nd album. Mayo Petranin (Castaway, Symphonity) was our lead singer in 2014-2018, Matt Smith (Theocracy) and Samuel Nyman (Manimal) were our special guests on the Exodus album (2013), David Åkesson has been working with us externally since our 2019 release “The Seal Of A New World”. Of course, our current lead singer, Jota Fortinho, is there too!
We are very happy that this little reunion took place and that we were able to make together some music again. It brought back a lot of good memories. On top of that all, we have André Hernandes (Andre Matos band) playing tasty additional lead guitar.
It's quite clear already, that the year 2020 has not been a great one, we all know that. That's why we believe a song about hope and not giving up is exactly what we all need to hear."
Newly formed blackened technical death metal trio Demon King is eager to unleash their explosive debut EP, The Final Tyranny. Set for release on February 12th, 2021 via The Artisan Era. Formed in 2019, Demon King is the comeback project of prominent original Enfold Darkness guitarist Matt Brown after stepping away from playing music for a number of years. He is joined by technical wizards Malcolm Pugh (Inferi, ex-Enfold Darkness) on Bass and Jack Blackburn (ex-Inferi, ex-Vital Remains, ex-Enfold Darkness) on Drums. Together the incredibly talented trio aims to be one of the reigning champs of the death metal world.

Atlanta's Sennight is dropping a new single “Arise” off their upcoming 2021 album “New Takes The Old”.
Sennight drives forth with their heavy, melancholic brand of melodic metal that can quickly be felt by the listener who is washed over with pronounced energy. It commands attention and is not a sound that is easily forgotten. Compared to their first demos, which were more of an alternative metal sound, their music has gotten faster and more energetic since then.
Lyrical content from Sennight is largely inspired by various European mythologies and epic stories: people striving and persevering against terrible odds and having otherworldly experiences. The single “Arise” is heavy rock infused with extreme metal rhythms along with a guest solo by Ron Dalton Jr. (Your Chance to Die, Final Curse, the band explains the track in their own words:
“Arise takes influence from a few different heavy music genres including heavy and extreme metal. Lyrically the song talks about breaking free of any inhibitions and fears in order to have a full life experience. 'Arise, untied, the iron pulled apart.'”
Hopeful and confident, the forthcoming album “New Takes The Old” will be comprised of ten songs with a variety of colors, sometimes energetic and penetrating, other times somber and plodding. The album was recorded over several sessions at Jam Room Studio in Columbia, SC, and a few parts were done remotely at guitarist Trevor Norris’ home studio. Brian Kingsland (Nile, Imperishable) and Alex Parra (Paladin, Sadistic Ritual) also recorded their guest solos remotely.
Ever ambitious, Sennight has more plans for releases after this upcoming 2021 album drop.

An INDUSTRIAL BLACK METAL project formed as an official band in 2016 in San Jose, Costa Rica.
DUSK is known to incorporate Atmospheric Black Metal into Industrial, full of relenting uncaring pounding blast beats and inhuman growling vocals mixed with modern rhythms such as Darkstep and other electronic influences. The band shared stage with Samael in Costa Rica during their 2019 Latin American Tour.
