THIS DAY IN 1992: BLACK SABBATH RELEASE "DEHUMANIZER"

After three killer albums with Tony Martin on vocals, "Eternal Idol" (1987), "Headless Cross" (1989) and "Tyr" (1990), Tony Iommi approached Ronnie James Dio and Geezer Butler to reunite the "Mob Rules" (1981) line-up (including Vinny Appice on drums). The result was this classic album featuring humns like "Time Machine", "TV Crimes", "Master of Insanity" and "Letters from Earth", just to name a few. The album was recorded at Rockfield Sudios, Gales and mastered at Musicland Studios in Germany. The reunion ended when Dio and Appice left the band when the other members arranged to play supporting Ozzy Osbourne. For that show, Rob Halford filled the vocals. And it was the prelude to Tony Martin´s return to the band.
