Black Vatican formed in 2015 in the underground music scene of Kansas City, USA. After many tests and trials, the band solidified its current lineup, with Erick Ramos on bass and lead vocals and Cole Roberts on lead guitar. Black Vatican’s sound can be described as symphonic Gothic metal. Their music incorporates atmospheric elements while still maintaining brute blackened blast beats and rapid riffs. Their lyrics draw inspiration from a wide range of classic poetic sources, including Shakespeare and world mythology. Black Vatican is not currently signed with a record label. They are independently spreading their unique sound around the world and increasing their popularity with every new track they release. The goal of Black Vatican is to spread the influence of Goth music and aesthetic to all and keep the genre alive for future generations.
