WHARFLURCH “Transmissions From The Swamp Cosmos” (FSI-028) - Frozen Screams Imprint celebrates our first year in operation as a label w/ a milestone new release from Florida’s psychedelic swamp lurkers, WHARFLURCH! This project has been in the works for awhile so I am thrilled to announce the full details. Myk / Wharflurch + Claw//Eight (responsible for the INSANE custom artwork for this release) have been instrumental in the evolution of both the label + zine, so its an honor to drop this collab as our final (?) imprint release of 2021 . . .

“Transmissions From The Swamp Cosmos” was professionally shot + recorded live w/ no overdubs @ Black Bear Studios in Gainesville, FL earlier this year. The 30 min set includes select tunes from the Wharflurch catalog, w/ cinematography by Liz Ramos (@liz_lameos) + editing / FX by Cary Smith aka Basslurch (@zurazawa). Multiple camera angles + trippy visual effects enhance the oozing depth of the music within — all with a low-fi VHS aesthetic. As an added bonus alongside this live transmission, we bring you an exclusive track: “Swamp Thing” — Wharflurch’s brilliant + unique re-imagining of the original classic TV series theme!
