Norwegian Black Metal band Northern Krig released their debut EP «Myrk Blóðfórn». The album was recorded and mixed at "Icelandic Fire Records" by Erik Lund. Mastered by Fabian Tormin in "Platlin Mastering".

Northern Krig was formed in 2021 at Oslo, Norway by Morfran (Vocals), Erik Lund (Guitars), Mikkel Stein (Bass) and Jonar Gunnarson (Drums), after the end of the guys previous band "Skyrsdag".
At the turn of the millennium, the congenial performance of the late ‚Skyrsdag‘ - the icons of Oslo’s underground Blackmetal scene with the elusive but all the more creative and indecipherable lead singer Morfran at its centre - had come to an unexpected and hushed/ wordless end.
When people began to notice that the project was disappearing, its members had already dropped off the radar, leaving nothing to explain the band’s vanishment to their dedicated fanbase or to fill the artistic void it left behind. Northern Krig have now torn open this oozing wound in those disciples’ hearts in a most brutal and intense way: thrashing their instruments with talons and claws, they mill their feelings into strings and skins, and the audience knows instantly that it can only mean one thing:
Otherwordly and intangible, like a ghost in the fog and yet real, as if the heart had been torn beating from the chest, Morfran has returned - as if he had never left. Accusingly he yells from inside our heads, „It was not me/I who left you, it was you“…
