Eager to keep the momentum going after the release of their well-received 2021 EP, The Living, Canadian Dissonant Death/Dissonant Black Metal influenced unit Mors Verum has partnered with No Clean Singing to launch their pro-shot live video, "Purging Waterloo". The release of this spectacular and punishing live performance coincides with the official announcement that the band has signed with Transcending Obscurity Records who will release their next album in 2023!

"It’s a tight performance, and one that vividly displays Mors Verum‘s ability to inflict brutally bludgeoning punishment, to drop jaws with the intricacy of the music and the technical proficiency of its execution, and to scramble heads through frequent forays into freakish discordance. "Mors Verum - “Purging Waterloo” is a DIY endeavor by the band seeking to showcase their latest release “The Living” and some of their tracks off of the prior full-length album “Deranged” in a live setting. This is our first show in their hometown Waterloo, Ontario with a complete lineup. All the video and audio recordings were edited, mixed, and mastered by their guitarist Kamble at his studio Erb Street Recording. We are thrilled to release this live show recording for our followers outside Canada and all the others who have not been able to see us live yet. We would love for them to experience our live energy from the comfort of their homes. This live set will also be available on Spotify and Bandcamp. We are currently working on a new album and are looking forward to releasing it next fall on Transcending Obscurity."
