Ramapithecus is a one-man project from Idaho started by Zhacsahn. Built on the concepts of evolution, atheism, archeology, Darwinism, and naturalism, this is the new style of black metal music. This is Atheistic Black metal. We Are Apes!

Zhacsahn says:

"I created this album with the idea of staying true to the raw and primitive sound that I started with, while still making something that crushes, desecrates, and rejects religious ideas and values and focuses on the reality of our species and how we truly came about. By The Means of Natural Selection's cover is the cradle of humankind, which is a paleoanthropological site located in Johannesburg, South African, in the province of Gauteng. The cradle of humankind holds an abundance of human ancestral remains."
