PRESS RELEASE:
Atmospheric Blackened Doom Metal band Krigsgrav have signed to Willowtip Records! Krigsgrav (Swedish for "War Grave") came charging out of the gate with a demo in 2006 and proceeded to release seven full-length albums, one EP, and two singles!
“We are beyond excited to join the Willowtip family. Not only have they released some amazing albums over the years, but it's an honor to be labelmates with their great current roster of bands like Aodon, The Mosaic Window, etc. We're hard at work writing the follow up to Fires in the Fall, and are thrilled to have Willowtip as our supportive new home."

BIO:
Formed in Texas in the Autumn of 2004, Krigsgrav has taken its primitive black metal roots and constantly matured and evolved their sound with each entry into their gloomy discography. Originating as a two-man project led by David Sikora, he welcomed new members in 2012, transforming the band into a full four-piece creative unit. Recurring conspirator Justin Coleman has remained a mainstay in Krigsgrav ever since. After a pair of albums, and after a shifting lineup resulted in Krigsgrav becoming a duo again in 2018, Sikora and Coleman welcomed in Giant of the Mountain’s Cody Daniels to join as a permanent fixture after years of stepping in as a periodic live member. The resulting albums from this trio were 2021’s The Sundering and 2023’s Fires in the Fall, both quickly becoming celebrated modern triumphs of grey-skied black metal fused with melodic death/doom. After more than seven years away from the group, Krigsgrav recently welcomed back talented bassist Wes Radvansky in 2023 and the newly-restored four-piece are currently entrenched in the songwriting process for their next album to be released in 2025.
Stay tuned!"
