New Music Video "Watch the World Burn" Pays Tribute to Late Videographer and Reflects on Global Issues

Visions of Morpheus is excited to announce the release of their new music video, "Watch the World Burn." The video, filmed during a bleak winter's day in February 2024, holds a special significance as it was produced in memory of their videographer, Arsen, who tragically passed away just days before the shoot.

The band made the decision to proceed with filming using their cell phones, honoring Arsen's memory and dedication to the project. In memory of Arsen, the band adds, "RIP Arsen."

"Watch the World Burn" is a poignant reflection on the state of the world, addressing themes such as the threat of nuclear war, global warming, regional conflicts, and rampant corporate greed. Written by Jeff Pearson, the song's lyrics resonate even more strongly in today's tumultuous times.

"This song was something I had thought was very poignant when I wrote it a few years ago, but it's even more so now with the state of the world," says Pearson. "The visual came to me in a fevered dream with skies of fire..."

The video features powerful imagery that captures the essence of the song's message, depicting a world on the brink of destruction. Despite the challenges faced during production, the band's commitment to delivering a meaningful message shines through.
