Formed in 1977 during the UK's Heavy Metal revolution, Overdrive quickly made their mark in the NWOBHM scene. Their 1981 debut EP, On the Run, earned airplay on the BBC Rock Show and John Peel show, boosting their profile. They’ve toured with rock icons like Lionheart, Bernie Tormé, and Def Leppard. With five studio albums and decades of touring, Overdrive remains a powerful force in heavy metal.
