BANGERS OPEN AIR FESTIVAL 2025 REVEALS COMPLETE LINE-UP

Bangers Open Air, which will take place on the 2nd (Warm-Up), 3rd and 4th of May 2025, at Memorial da América Latina (SP), announces its final complete line-up and reveals that it has many surprises for the three days of music. Among the attractions are W.A.S.P., DORO and the much requested by the public AVANTASIA, in addition to the already announced bands POWERWOLF and SABATON. The presence of LACRIMOSA, VADER, MUNICIPAL WASTE, WE CAME AS ROMANS and the solo band of KERRY KING, guitarist from SLAYER, were also confirmed. For Warm-Up, none other than the queen of metal, DORO, the Danes from PRETTY MAIDS and the four-string master and one of the most influential voices in classic rock, GLENN HUGHES, complete the lineup for the Bangers Open Air edition.

AVANTASIA, led by the charismatic vocalist and creator of the project Tobias Sammet, will take their new show to Bangers Open Air 2025, promoting the album "Here Be Dragons", their tenth studio album. For the very first time, Avantasia will bring a “full set” show with full production to Latin America! With this even bigger and more elaborate production, this new work aims to take fans to the fantastic world of Avantasia, with the project's mentor and lead singer of the German group Edguy, Tobias Sammet. The shows will include new songs, classics and some tracks rarely played live. The ambitious production, with special effects and immersive elements, will invite audiences to "join the other side" in a world of fantasy and escapism. This will be an exclusive show, being the only show on the tour in Latin America.

Bangers Open Air production also confirmed guitarist KERRY KING's band, which is currently the closest Slayer fans will get to the band, as the band is not on tour. The name Kerry King alone denotes a thrash metal institution. In a solo career, the American guitarist continues to practice the same style that made him famous worldwide with Slayer. Currently, he and his band partners – Mark Osegueda (vocals, Death Angel), Phil Demmel (guitar, Vio-lence, Machine Head, Category 7), Kyle Sanders (bass, Hellyeah, MonstrO) and Paul Bostaph (drums, Forbidden , Exodus, Systematic, Testament) – promote the album "The Hell I Rise"

In the concert set, in addition to compositions from the solo album, such as "Idle Hands", "Residue" and "Where I Reign", Kerry King and his band perform Slayer classics, such as "Raining Blood" and "Black Magic”. An aggressive and fast approach, combined with heavy riffs and muffled picking, Kerry King continues to spread sonic brutality. And that's exactly what Brazilians will see at Bangers Open Air 2025.

The Americans of W.A.S.P. will also be present at the festival. The band will make a triumphant return to Brazil and, for the first time in 40 years, will present their debut album “W.A.S.P." live in full, in a very special show. Formed in 1982 in the city of Los Angeles, the band currently has the mentor and leader Blackie Lawless (vocals and guitar), Doug Blair (guitar), Mike Duda (bass) and the widely known Brazilian Aquiles Priester (Edu Falaschi, Hangar, Angra, Noturnall and others) on drums. To achieve their goal in the crowded musical scene of the time, W.A.S.P. presented a robust mix of hard rock and heavy metal, an electrifying stage posture in the best shock rock style, provocative lyrics and videos playing on the air. MTV. In short, they had the complete package. Fans will be able to feel the impact of songs from their debut, such as "I Wanna Be Somebody" and "L.O.V.E. Machine", as well as other eternal classics at W.A.S.P.'s show at Bangers Open Air 2025!

Meanwhile, on the day of the Warm-Up we will have GLENN HUGHES, former bassist and vocalist of Deep Purple, known worldwide as "The Voice of Rock" and member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, as well as current frontman of the supergroup Black Country Communion . The show celebrates his time with Deep Purple, featuring great classics such as "Burn", "Stormbringer", "Might Just Take Your Life" and "Mistreated", as well as tracks from the MK 4 period, which featured Tommy Bolin, with " Gettin' Tighter" and "You Keep On Moving". Hughes also included the MK 2 era hits "Highway Star" and "Smoke on the Water". Hughes, who has released 14 solo albums, has also recorded with Trapeze, Gary Moore, Black Sabbath, John Norum, Tony Iommi, Rata Blanca, Phenomena, Voodoo Hill, California Breed, The Dead Daisies, among others, in addition to projects such as Hughes/Thrall and Hughes Turner Project.

In addition to these and other previously announced bands, DREAM SPIRIT from China, PRESSIVE from Mexico, among many other national and international attractions, will also be present.
