The goat is back! French heavy rockers GOATFATHER return with their third full-length House of the Rising Smoke, out October 24th via Argonauta Records. Following their acclaimed records Hipster Fister (2016) and Monster Truck (2021), the band takes their sound to new heights – or better, deeper lows – with 6 tracks of heavy groove, thunderous vocals and riffs dripping with greasy stoner attitude.

The new record introduces Violeine (ex-Witchgrove) on bass, bringing fresh energy and rumbling low end to the band’s filthy sonic brew. Expect a raw yet catchy blend of stoner heaviness, southern swagger and relentless riff power, crafted to shake stages and fuel late-night rock rituals.

Spreading greasy music in their path, these four musicians from France play Heavy Stoner Rock – and they play it loud! The band quickly gained attention from audiences and press with their debut Hipster Fister (Black Wave, 2016) and sophomore Monster Truck (Argonauta Records, 2021). Extensive live shows followed, with GOATFATHER sharing stages with heavyweights like Stoned Jesus, Planet of Zeus, Mars Red Sky, Monkey3 and more.

Now, with House of the Rising Smoke, GOATFATHER are ready to unleash their dirtiest, heaviest and most ambitious work to date – six crushing tracks straight from the bayou, soaked in fuzz and dripping with sweat.
