NASTY INSECTS RELEASE "BITE ´TIL THEY BLEED"

PRESS RELEASE:

Australian electro-industrial thrash metal band NASTY INSECTS released their debut album "Bite 'Til They Bleed" on September 17th, 2026 through Grindhead Records. The eight-track album will be available digitally, on CD and LP.

Formed in Wollongong in early 2024, NASTY INSECTS quickly began taking their synth-laced thrash across venues throughout the Illawarra and Australia's East Coast. A subsequent tour of New Zealand helped tighten the band's chemistry and fed into the material that became their debut album.

"Bite 'Til They Bleed" combines the attack of 1980s thrash with abrasive electronics, mechanical rhythms and frantic guitars. The band cite Power Trip, Sacred Reich, Metallica, Exodus and The Prodigy among the reference points for their sound.

Lyrically, the album turns towards anxiety, paranoia, depression, trauma and fractured identity. Rather than external monsters, the songs focus on what happens inside the mind, moving through intrusive thoughts, psychological wounds, delusion and a gradually distorted sense of reality.

The album artwork was created by Cal Sinadinovic and follows the same psychological themes, using tangled forms and claustrophobic imagery to reflect the confusion and paranoia running through the record.
