Regarding the band itself, there is a contrast between the darkness of the name and the somewhat up beat melodies and rhythms. It makes a statement like "yes, we're probably doomed but there's no point in being unhappy about it."

Behind the curtain, SCARCROW worked constantly hard on new material, which is fully developed and elaborated in 2019. To be finally found on the first full-fledged album. The debut Lp "Beyond The Black Rainbow" picks up on the EP's trademarks, but adds a whole bunch of quality and catchiness to it. Especially frontman Damon Fry, who had already a unique stage presence from day one, lends life into the songs with his dark and charismatic voice. Due to this intensity, the lyrics on "Beyond The Black Rainbow" are feathered with a kaleidoscope of dark and mystical stories. In which, however, a certain wink may not be missing.
