South German thrashers NUCLEAR WARFARE are celebrating their 18th anniversary as a band and their sixth album "Lobotomy" is the band's gift to all the fans who have been supporting them along the years. Faithful to the Thrash Metal of the 80s, you'll find nine songs where your neck muscles are once again to be tortured until the cervical vertebrae cracks. "Lobotomy" offers a merciless homage to the German Thrash Metal heroes of the 80s mixed with Bay Area influences, with the band managing to add their own stamp on the end result.
"Lobotomy" was recorded at the Oversonic Studio in São José dos Campos (Brazil) under the direction of Friggi Mad Beats and mastered by Neto Grous/ Absolute Master in Capivari. In contrast to its predecessor "Empowered by Hate", "Lobotomy" has become much more guitar-oriented.
The artwork was created by Brazilian graphic and tattoo artist Edu Nascimentto. "Lobotomy" is a "must have" for every fan of thrashmetal sounds!
