KORPSESOTURI - an old school death metal band from Finland - new EP will be released through all well known digital platforms on Monday 15.12.2025!
Raising from the gloomy darkness Korpsesoturi will release an EP having two unreleased new songs. With the two previous albums Malus Corpus (Rotted Life, USA 2018) and Korpskrist (Xtreem Music, Spain 2020) Korpsesoturi has been making its own rotten path with finnish lyrics, pushing the listeners against the wall with the aggressions and ripping their guts into their throat and tearing their souls in small pieces! No excuses, no polishing - just pure raw old school death metal as it should be done! Live torment is one of the main part of Korpsesoturi in the past and will be also in the future. Primitive energy and killer strike straight into audience heads and their rotten bodies!
Korpsesoturi was originally formed 2014 by Juha Ahlfors. Main focus was to create raw energy, dark lyrics in Finnish language and sound which respects the traditional old school death metal. Uncompromising path of death metal is what Korpsesoturi sounds and feels – no solos, no melodic parts more than needed, no clean vocals – just pure expression of metal, crushing your balls and backbone. Korpsesoturi is at its best playing live torments - sharing the raw energy with the lunatic audiences! Korpsesoturi has played many live shows and you can check the list above! Musicians in this band are not rookies as they all have long death metal back rounds stick into their rotten bodies.
Korpsesoturi recorded for the first time 2016 but these songs were never actually published anywhere. Official selftitled Korpsesoturi EP was recorded in Spring 2017. Caco-Daemon records (DE) released this ep in c-cassette form in July 2017. Death in Pieces records (Mexico) released the official EP with demo songs from 2016 in Autumn 2017 in cd format. Feedback was very promising. First full lenght album was recorded and mixed during the Spring and Summer 2018 with outstanding session musicians. This album – called Malus Corpus - was released by Rotted Life records (USA) in November 16th, 2018. Korpsesoturi signed a record deal in Autumn 2019 for two albums with Xtreme Music (Spain). Second album is calledKorpskrist and it was released in September 2020.
